I am running the Georgia Half Marathon in Atlanta, Georgia on March 17,2013, in honor of my incredible friend, Kim Adams Roberts.  Kim is a wife, mother, artist, inspiration, prayer warrior and friend who is valiantly fighting a brain tumor.  In December 2011, while pregnant with her beautiful daughter Sydney, Kim was diagnosed with a tumor.  Since giving birth in mid-March to Sydney, Kim has had brain surgery, lots of consults with doctors, and started a radiation regimen, which will be followed by a year of chemotherapy.  Armed with faith in God and His plans for her life, Kim is facing this challenge like a champ!
