My Generous Supporters!

As many of you know, the Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) holds significant meaning to me and is always an emotional run. It was through the MCM in 2004, that I first discovered that something was wrong and that I had brain cancer. In the spring, I had surgery to rebuild my bladder as a result of my cancer. After many months of no activity, I have started to train again, so I am able to run and finish the MCM. I have run this race for each of the past 11 years and I am determined not to miss this one! Because this event holds such significant meaning to me, I plan on designating each mile to a child that I know or have known that has also battled cancer and think of them as I run.

In an effort to make a difference, I would like to use this race to raise awareness and funds for brain cancer research through Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure. If you wish to sponsor a child, please make a donation to Race Towards a Cure. To make a donation, click on the "Donate" button to the right.
