My Generous Supporters!

Thanks for visiting my personal fundraising page! I have committed to running the Marine Corps Marathon or MCM10K as a part of Race Towards A Cure.  The money I raise will benefit cutting-edge brain cancer research through Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure, and get us one step closer to a cure!

As many of you are aware, my brother Steven Rodriguez is 19 years old and was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor AT/RT (Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor) in May 2013. He had an emergency craniotomy in mid-May. . AT/RT is rare in and of it self, but it's more common to affect children under the age 5, having it affect an adult is very rare. It's been a tough battle for Steven, our family, and friends; whom I am very grateful for all the support we have received thus far.

I am running this 10k in honor of Steven, and Jerry Pang; a friend from Tiburon Pininsula Club, who also has a brain tumor metastasized from a rare form of lung cancer. His 3cm tumor was discovered only days after Stevens. He had a gross resection at Stanford Medical Center and is undergoing treatment on an outpatient basis. He's married and has a young son. And all the families affected from brain cancer.

I can't do this without your help! Please consider supporting my efforts with a donation, and join in the fight against brain cancer.  To make a donation, click on the "Donate" button to the right.

Thanks in advance for your support!
