My Generous Supporters!

Hello Friends and Family,

Thanks for visiting my personal fundraising page! I have committed to running the 2013 Marine Corps 10K as a part of the Race Towards A Cure with my wife Tracy, and our nephews Michael and Matthew.  My daughter Aja is the person who organized this run for my 19 year old nephew Steven Rodriguez.  My daughter and and my brother-in-law Chris will be running in the marathon portion of this run.  My mother-in-law and mother will also be joining us as well as a friend of Steven's family who's husband also was recently diagnosed with a non smoking lung cancer which metastasized into a brain tumor a few days after Stevens was diagnosed in May of this year.  His name is Jerry Pang and this run is him for too.

The money I raise will benefit cutting-edge brain cancer research through Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure, and will get us one step closer to a cure for my nephew who is battling Stage 4 ATRT at UCSF Benioff's Children's Hospital as well as their family friend Jerry Pang.  ATRT is a rare pediatric brain tumor and stands for Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor!  This tumor is usually found in children ages 1-3 and is almost always fatal in that age group.  There are only approximately 30 known ATRT adult cases in the world, and my nephew is one of them.    We need find a cure for him and Jerry.

I can't do this without your help! Please consider supporting my efforts with a donation, and join in the fight against brain cancer and helping Steven and Jerry beat this awful cancer.  To make a donation, click on the "Donate" button to the right.  Any amount, no matter how small is appreciated.

Thank you so much in advance for your support.

Sincerely,

Robert Morse, Steven's Uncle
