We are raising awareness and funds for the Seattle Brain Cancer Walk. 

Last year the walk raised approximately $400k which went to buy new research equipment and the funding of research for each patient of the Ivy Center for Advanced Brain Tumor Treatment. A test that used to take seven days to complete can now be run within four hours.  This new equipment has given the researchers at the center a rich set of data to help them understand brain tumors.

This year's proceeds from the Seattle Brain Cancer Walk will go towards turning that research into clinical trials that will directly help brain tumor patients in the pacific northwest.  The funding will go to the Ivy Center for Advanced Brain Tumor Treatment and other innovative research partners here in the Pacific Northwest.
