On Thursday October 10th 2013, we lost a great man. This man was not only a great brother, father, uncle and husband but he was a great person. One of the hardest things was losing Gilles so rapidly to a cancer that most have never even heard of. However, glioblastoma is the most common and most aggressive malignant primary brain tumor in humans today.

The story starts in March of 2012 when our father was diagnosed with this aggressive disease. He fought and did all he could to combat this cancer, however the disease was just too aggressive. In his memory, we made him a promise. We made a promise that we would celebrate his life, not mourn. W also promised that we would do all we could to spread his memory to all that didn’t have the opportunity to know this great man.

Our wonderful family also decided to create this memorial page in his honor. For all those who are still battling this disease and for those who have also lost a loved one. With more research, we can give more hope to the people and families who are also fighting for their lives to beat brain cancer.

Together, we can raise money for cutting-edge brain cancer research through Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure, and get us one step closer to a cure!

In lieu of flowers, please donate to this cause. We appreciate the support.
