The Florida Brain Cancer 5K is hosted by Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure and raises funds to support cutting edge brain cancer research projects. The run/walk is open to participants of all fitness levels and runners will have the option to be timed. The true spirit of the event encourages walkers and runners alike to join Family & Friend or Company Teams to revel in the community around them and celebrate their fundraising efforts together at this wonderfully spirited event.
Date and Location
Packet Pick-Up - Stay tuned!
Among those choosing to be timed in the 5k, the top adult male and female, top male and female survivors, and top age group winners will be presented with awards. RUNNERS PLEASE NOTE: Only the first place winner in each age group (male and female) will receive an award, not top 3. As this event is a fundraising event, we have to keep our costs low and cannot do as many running awards.
We will also be rewarding participants based on fundraising efforts. The top 3 individuals and top 3 company and family/friends teams that raised the most money by event day will also receive special recognition.

Suggested Team Meeting Locations - Just past the Registration and Check-in area is a large covered pavilion with tables and benches. This is a great centralized meeting area to direct your team members to.
